You’re probably wondering why -this- is the photo I chose for the About section of our website. It’s not a professional headshot, I’m not wearing a business suit and I certainly am not holding anything with my logo on it. This is, instead, my favorite photo of myself from my first trip out of the country as an adult; a trip that expanded my love for learning and experiencing new things so much that I launched Evolve a year and a few months later.

When I arrived and had the most life-altering, fun, deeply introspective four days of my life (on this trip I didn’t think I would make it to, by the way, but that’s a story for another time)! I chose to do activities I had never done because I’d feared doing them; danced WITH everyone watching on the beach; tried foods I’d not yet heard of (but now love), and got to have this photo taken of myself in the sacred Gran Cenote before snorkeling with the beautiful souls I was meant to connect with.

I founded Evolve Community Events to give others the opportunity to connect with themselves and each other; to explore the vastness of the world through other cultures; to move their bodies with care and reverence, and to see what we can create when we are in community together!

I am filled with gratitude that you are here. I cannot wait to learn, grow, expand, and evolve with you.
